There has been some recent excitement concerning galaxies, black holes and jets.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-57998940. I thought this image might be of some interest. "Streaming out from the center of the galaxy M87 like a cosmic searchlight is one of nature's most amazing phenomena, a black-hole-powered jet of electrons and other sub-atomic particles traveling at nearly the speed of light". See https://hubblesite.org/.../images/2000/20/968-Image.html.In some images on the www I have seen, the 2 companion PGC galaxies are confused with the jet.
