Details:
Jupiter and Saturn during their Aug 2011 opposition. The two giant planets are currently the main attraction for amateur astronomers and astrophotographers. It is also an opportunity to test new planetary cameras and processing techniques. This composite of the planets was taken through a Celestron 11 edgeHD with a TeleVue 2x powermate using a ZWO asi294 color camera at 45 fps. Around 1000 frames were captured for each planet and stacked using Autostakker, RegiStax and Photoshop elements.
