Details:
Here is the first try at Jupiter with the mini-Mak. From experience I have found the 90mm Mak doesn't work too well from the window-sill. Possibly because the objective (1e the mirror) ends up too far from the window-pane. However the scope is easy to "grab and go", so I decamped to the patio. The intention was to see the Great red spot, timed to transit the meridian at 22:21 UT (on the 22nd) Clouds prevented this, and it was over 2 hours later when it cleared. So for what it is worth, here is the image I got. Not too good but given Jupiter's low elevation there is something, at least. Maybe better as we approach opposition.
