Details:
This photo was taken from the Roan Highlands of eastern TN/western NC on the evening of June 18. These blue-tinted clouds appeared around 45min-1hr after sunset. I've never seen NLC's before (35N lat) but these seem to fit the bill, I just didn't expect them to be so high overhead. They were bright enough to be naked eye visible but not overly so. This is a 4sec exposure.
