Details:
On this particular evening the NLC's did not come out till 2345 hrs MDT, the display never reached higher than 10 degrees above the horizon. It was a display of colours that I have never seen before in such detail the red in the NLC is caused by the setting sun as red light travel farther than other colours. I was literally mesmerized by the display a most shocking experience :)
