Details:
The forthcoming display was detectable even before it became dark and the brightness grew out of the twilight. The main show, most intense, just west of north started about 9.40 UTC and lasted till 10.40 UTC. Another much more distant show occurred about 1.15 UTC in the north east and lower to the horizon. There appeared to be the trace of a noctilucent sun pillar. Canon EOS 6D 1/10 f4 50mm 12800ISO hand held.
