Details:
Noctilucent clouds made their way south last night! Usually trapped in the Artic Corcle in the summer, these amazing clouds form when ice particles attach themselves to meteor smoke in the upper atmosphere. The last rays of light from sunset catches them and they glow electric blue. I’ve been wanting to see NLCs for about 6 years, but conditions and timing just didn’t work out until now. What an incredible introduction to this phenomenon though!
