Details:
The sun, as seen through power lines, at the precise moment of winter solstice (1.32pm AEST). From latitude 28.26S the sun is still reasonably high in the winter sky, slightly to the west of north. Although our winter officially started on June 1st, we have been blessed with gloriously sunny and warm days (nights are chilly though). The third photo is of my winter solstice shadow. Apologies that the photos appear sideways. Happy winter and summer solstice to everyone! Taken with my iPhone
