Details:
One year ago I met STEVE but wouldn’t read about it for the first time till your article in February. Having seen the Red Aurora 4/6/00 (Tuscaloosa AL) - Halloween Storm 10/31/01 (I-64 IL) and traditional displays in Ontario Canada I was sure this was a dim activity of the ionosphere. It quickly moved against the prevailing wind(timeanddate.com). I might have seen it sooner but I was looking through my 10” SCT for something to photograph with the app Nightcap on my iPhone SE(2018). With camera ready I got shots of it passing overhead for 8 minutes. All less than 3 second exposures.
