Details:
It started out cloudy in North Yorkshire but partially cleared just after the eclipse started. I managed to get a few shots during gaps in the cloud. It was an amazing sight to see a chunk out of the Sun. Through my telescope I could see the rough edge of the Moon against the solar disc as well as some small sunspots. I'm glad I got a view of the eclipse - a magical morning! I used a Canon 250D attached to a NexStar 6SE telescope to get this shot. The solar filter I was using results in a white image so I edited the shot on my phone to give it a yellow colour.
