Details:
I was already ready to call it a night when noticed the parameters changing sharply. Without hesitation, I headed out thinking this should spark some auroras strong enough to overcome the bright moon and the astronomical twilight up here at this time of the year. Among a few sub-storms between 1am and 2:45am local time, the last one was the brightest and almost overhead.
