Details:
Image 1, nearly full moon at 12:34 a.m. PDT; Image 2, near totality at 3:52 a.m. PDT; Image 3, incoming marine layer overcoming view at 4:02 a.m. PDT: I live about 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean and at this time of year we get marine layer clouds often at night through the morning. May 26th started out clear enough but just before totality of the lunar eclipse the marine layer pulled up its blanket and covered the sky. These are images from a time-lapse video which can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/SchmueyVision-- Camera and Settings: Sony FDR-AX700, 4K, time-lapse at 1 fps, mounted on a tripod, various Aperture, Shutter, and ISO, settings for each image.
