Details:
Skies cleared beautifully about one-half hour before the moon entered Earth's penumbral shadow. Although the eclipse was only partial here in eastern Iowa, it was still worth getting out of bed to view and image. The eclipse sequence was captured with a Canon 60Da DSLR through a 60mm refractor (400mm focal length) at f/6.0. ISO 100 and exposures of 1/160 second.
