The Sonoran desert north of Tucson, Arizona, hi-lighted this beautiful 1.1 day old, 1.4% illuminated moon along with Venus and Mercury, in this stunning conjunction. They were only separated by 1deg, 16min, with the Tortolita Mountains and a 150 year old Saguaro Cactus, providing the precise horizon cutout. It was an awe inspiring scene capturing such a new moon along with 2 additional planets, amongst such a picturesque setting.
