On Wednesday evening Venus and Mercury could be observed at the same time above the glare of a Sunset Twilight Arch for just four minutes from when Mercury first became visible above the summit of Transmitter Hill to when Venus set behind the adjacent lower Christmas Pass horizon. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in sunset mode.
