Details:
On Thursday evening a Jet Plane passed underneath Venus while I was taking some photographs of it descending towards the north-western horizon half an hour after sunset. This coincidence is amazing because it is uncommon to see any aircraft flying in the vicinity of Mutare. Twelve still images taken in less than a minute have been used to produce the accompanying time-lapse animation and mosaic. A second animation shows Venus setting below the horizon a few minutes later. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in sunset mode with up to x60 optical zoom magnification. This is a resubmission due to faulty processing of lead GIF.
