Details:
Like in the Netherlands (c.130 miles from here across the North Sea) - earlier post - the weather conditions in eastern England gave rise to a long lasting sun halo on Saturday 24th April. Here it is seen at c. 4.00pm above the tree which our town has used in many photographs of wonderful skyscapes as a symbol of stability in these difficult times. The tree is perfectly positioned such that the sun can be seen setting directly behind it on every day of the year. Though a common feature these halos are great for encouraging interest in the natural wonders of the weather and the sky. Canon EOS6D 1/4000 100ISO Samyang 14mm f.4
