Details:
The comet was just two days past closest approach to Earth, and moving very fast against the background stars. This was a single 45 sec. exp. at 6400 iso with a Canon T4i and 12.5" f/6 Newt. Even at this exposure time, a slight elongation of the coma can be seen. The comet was passing close to the 14th mag. galaxy NGC 5961 in Corona Borealis.
