Details:
Updated geomagnetic data for the recent encounter with fast flowing solar wind. Peaking as a G1 geomagnetic storm overnight between 16th/17th (here in Europe) and transitioning into a period of geomagnetic unrest into the night of the 17th, things appear to have settled down. The data show up very clearly on my home built magnetometer here in the UK as shown in the chart.
