Comet /2020 R4 (ATLAS) April 9th 02 50hrs UT Visible before dawn this is a pic of Comet 2020 R4 (ATLAS). A long period comet that was closest to the Sun on March 1st at a distance of 95 million miles. Its moving rapidly through Aquila as it returns to the outer reaches of the solar system. Will be closest to earth on April 23rd at a distance of 42 million miles. This is a stack of 7 x 120sec subs centred on the comet. total exposure 14 minutes William optics flt132 asi533mc pro camera
