Hello to all of you. Yesterday I hiked from Grindavik to Geldingadalir (Iceland) to see the eruption . I spent a few hours there and hiked back around 23:00 h local time. Still full of impressions I took a look up to the sky, direction Grindavik. I couldn’t trust my eyes: Aurora boreal is, very unexpected! Maybe it would be possible to have an eruption an northern lights on the same picture, so my idea. As you can see: It worked! The white points on the pictures are the pocket lamps of all the hundreds of people coming down from the eruption site. To my surprise I was the only one, who was interested in this singular event: Aurora and vulcano in one picture !!!! Greetings, Henning
