Details:
What a night! I am still quite speechless from what we have witnessed tonight here in Utsjoki at 70°N in Finnish Lapland. The Aurora was just so powerful, bright and fast with a lot of pink (nitrogen fringe) and also some purple on top of the green on many occasions. Tonight I chose a different locations at the church just outside of the village and what a treat this was! The pictures with the church are blended from 2 exposures (the church is too brightly lit for photos even when the Aurora is that strong). This was in the top 3 displays of this season, if not the very best!
