Now here is a "bucket list" shot. I've always wanted to see this waterfall in Grand Portage, MN with the Aurora over it. The combination of a G1/G2 level event, and a super calm, clear night made this possible. I'm beyond thrilled!! The amount of color in the Aurora that morning was also so beautiful! This image is blended - a longer exposure for the foreground was used with a shorter exposure sky to bring out details while preserving motion.
