I watched a movie on ARD-Alpha last week, called "A Travel Guide to Mars", with lots of interesting pictures.
Some gullies on mars canyons look almost like palm trees. But this is just imagination and they don't cast shadows. And I discovered a very strange check pattern of dunes - I made some 3D-pictures from.
