Yesterday morning I started by checking what time the moon would rise behind the Dolomites in Italy from where I was suppose to work, and I found that around 12:30 the Moon should be visible. I took some shots as the Moon started to show up behind the right ridge of the peak and to the left of the peak I could see an airliner closing in and it look like it had perfect alignment with the Moon. I waited and waited for the airliner to appear, a bit uncertain at what height, but all of a sudden it appeared and it was just below the Moon. Later in the day when the Moon was a bit higher and not so hazy I took a new photo of the Moon that I used in post production as an luminance layer to enhance the lunar structures.
