Details:
Hi - went out for a walk at the side of a steep valley today and noticed what could be described as a sundog well below the sun, probably more easily spotted against the darker background of the southern side of the valley (in the shadowy side of the valley). The time was around noon. Lots of slowly falling snow crystals (frost) in the air, which the sunlight seemed to be reflected off. No other sundogs or halo seen to the sides or around the sun. Not sure if this is common? Camera: Samsung smartphone
