This is something that you rarely get to see. This Gigantic Jet was followed by an Elve event just 5 mins after on Sept. 5, 2020. I just happened to notice this after going thru all of the footage I shot that night just recently. The Vaisala Data indicates that the Elve event was at a 15.8 deg latitude and the convection for the stormcell of the GJ shows that it was also at approx 15.8 deg latitude. This could be visual proof that a Gigantic Jet can sometimes come close to reaching the heights of an Elve, which is believed to be at about 90 Km.
