Details:
C/2021 A1 (Leonard) = C4AGJ62 is the first comet discovered in 2021. It is a comet with a hyperbolic trajectory discovered by G. J. Leonard on January 3, 2021, see MPEC 2021-A99 https://minorplanetcenter.net/mpec/K21/K21A99.html (my observations from a remote telescope were also included). It was discovered a year before perihelion and it could become a bright comet and visible with the naked eye at the end of 2021 http://astro.vanbuitenen.nl/comet/2021A1 . I took 4 photos with remote telescope T21 (iTelescope.Net) from 12:38:25 to 13:03:48 UT on January 6, 2021 (300 seconds of exposure time for each photo). According to preliminary calculations (ssd.jpl.nasa.gov), on December 12, 2021 the comet will be at a distance 0.233 au to Earth and on December 18, 2021 will be at a distance 0.0283 au to Venus! My image: stack from 4 photographs. Best regards, Filipp Romanov (23 years old, amateur astronomer since 2009, discoverer of 71 variable stars, 10 planetary nebulae candidates, 4 possible double stars and 3 transients, author of 2 scientific papers published in scientific journals https://filipp-romanov.livejournal.com/27664.html) from Russia. twitter.com/romanov_filipp
