Waiting for northern lights to start dancing, I was freezing on a lonely road in northern Sweden during the night between jan 5/6 2021. Temperatures were around or below -25c and I'd been waiting for hours when the cloudy sky opened up, showing a fade green glowing bow when facing north. At the same time fog came in from west, softening the green light and the stars. From behind (south) a half moon lit the landscape, adding contrast and structure to the snow covering ground and trees branches. After a while my eyes detected this white bow just to the left from the green one. I'd never seen nor heard of such phenomenon before, but thought it looked cool so I decided to take some shots of it to bring at least something home as a compensation for freezing. I sent a pic to my friend Göran Strand ( @astrofotografen ) asking what I'd seen and he new for sure, also encouraging me to upload it here. 15s, f/2,4 ISO 3200 Canon Eos 5dsr, IRIX 15/2,4 blackstone
