Details:
Almost two weeks after the Great Conjunction, Jupiter and Saturn have moved apart, are lower in the evening sky and more difficult to see against the glow of sunset twilight. In this beautiful 30-second time exposed view which extends from Chikanga to the City of Mutare, the pair can be seen descending behind Chikanga while lightning flickers in a growing cumulonimbus formation behind Nyakamete. The foreground is illuminated by security lights on my house. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in starry sky mode.
