The moon is a gigantic spherical object. Not flat, but round. This image really captures the curvature of the moon making it a very realistic 3D image.
Details:
Image captured using an Explore Scientific 152ED APO Refractor with a 14mm 82 degree eyepiece.
An iPhone Xr was used to capture the image using the Nightcap app.
