Details:
I needed a pause before getting around to processing this one. || Cascade of 108 Geminids over the San Francisco Peaks from December 13th. It was cold and got down to 9°F/-13°C just before sunrise. So I was sitting in the car for most of this, watching through the windows:) || Lots of color in there from airglow and Flagstaff adding to that, glowing at lower left. Of 2100+ frames shot with this composition, 180 caught meteors. This leaves out 23 non-Geminids and a bunch of others that wound up off-frame after re-aligning all the catches to the star field. || 13 Dec. 2020, 1013-1324Z/2:13-6:24AM MST || Canon EOS 6D Mark II || Tokina AT-X 16-28 F/2.8 ProFX@16mm || ~120x6sec, f/2.8, ISO 12,800 || 20 frames stacked in Starry Landscape Stacker to reduce noise || ~100 frames tone/color-corrected, re-aligned, masked to star field to stack captured meteors
