Details:
The close conjunction between these giant planets was observed from the viewpoint Ladehammeren. In this image the pair is seen above the Nidaros Cathedral, which also has a very long history of more than 800 years. The planets were visible to the naked eye and a very fine sight in binoculars despite a true altitude of only ~2 degrees. Imaged using Canon EOS 6D Mark II and a 400-mm f/5.6 lens.
