Details:
This is a composite of my observing of Dec 12's Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction. The background is from 12/12's Starry Nite's view at the time the planet images were taken. It shows the angular separation they were from each other of ~59'. The left insert shows the cloudy weather found as dust was about to begin shot with a Nikon 550 using a 35mm lens. The second insert shows the planets shot using a 140mm lens. In the original one of Jupiter's moons is barely visible. The right most insert is an enlargement of the 140mm planet image showing Jupiter with its moons.
