Details:
Wow! A totally unexpected really big Aurora show took place last night in the sky of Utsjoki in the far north of Finnish Lapland. The solar wind conditions were really quiet (slow speed, low density), but the Bz steadily in (slightly) negative values must have triggered this! Although I wouldn't have expected such a big show. At some point, the northern lights were filling the entire sky all the way to the southern horizon! No picture of that exact moment as I was already quite busy doing a LIVE stream of this all and pointing the live cameras to the right directions. What a night again in Utsjoki!
