Aurora realtime video . We went on a roadtrip from Switzerland to northern Sweden to hunt northern lights. 4 days driving . Then a week aurora hunt. Chose Sweden because there is no travel quarantine and also no quarantine when returning to Switzerland from Sweden, so we were free to drive day-by-day to clear nightskies and thus saw aurora every night . As the weather went we started at Abisko, then hopped to Norway for a night, then back to Sweden, and so on.... On october 23rd in evening we were near Porjus in Sweden. The sky was clear as forecast and dark but aurora was weak at first, till suddenly Bz went south and aurora quickly exploded in huge display... I had several cameras ready, one for timelapse video and two for realtime video . . here is a video I shot with Sony a7s and Sigma 16mm f/1.4 . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jaL5Yj8Hr4 . here is a video I shot with Canon EOS R6 on Sigma 20mm 1.4 Art : . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDay9kQG-ks . and a timelapse video with EOS RP and Rokinon 24/1.4 . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFf3gVewKZE . it starts calmly and then escalates dramatically. . the images here are a few video stills , somewhat noisy. The R6 is a great camera but the a7s is imho still king of extreme low light, a tad better.
