Details:
Went up to Northern Minnesota to chase the Aurora. While most of the trip was a bust due to heavy cloud cover, there were a few spots of clear skies. When this shot was taken, I wasn't going for Aurora - I already gave up on it for the night, as the data wasn't looking promising. then around 4-4:30AM CST, I get an alert on my phone from Speaceweather.com. I still couldn't see anything with the naked eye... but these colorful reds showed up in the image. So maybe? It could be airglow, too. Image is a tracked sky shot blended with an untracked foreground.
