Buy one, get one for free: two transient stars (possible Novae) are visible in this picture of M31 galaxy in Andromeda, taken on 2020-10-22 at 22:45 UT. AT2020vak is the star prospectively close to the core of the galaxy, AT2020xyv is visible in the upper part of the image. North is up.
Newton 10" f/4.8 Canon EOS 1300D 2X50secs frames. Alphard Observatory (K82).
