Details:
Glorious and stunning planet Mars, currently the brightest star in the night sky, rises above Mount Rougemont, at Rougemont, Quebec at 8:07pm on October 11. The visual clarity was excellent in the cold fall temperatures. Anyone with a DSLR camera can capture this, with their camera mounted on a tripod. Exposure was 15 seconds, at ISO 640, my lens was fully open at f/2.8 Nikon D800, Nikkor 24-70 at 28mm. This photo was cropped for greater visibility.
