Description:
Comet C/2020 M3 (ATLAS) imaged on September 27, 2020 in conjunction with Haley's Coronet galaxy NGC 1532, a barred spiral interacting with the dwarf galaxy NGC 1531 and deformed by the tidal forces between them. The comet has a large 10-arc-minute green coma with strong central condensation and a 5-minute long tail to the west (right).
