Details:
A nearly full Harvest Moon creates brilliant lunar iridescent colors while the red planet Mars (bright dot above/right of moon) shines in conjunction on October 2, 2020 around 10 pm near Denali Park Village, Alaska. At first, the High Wind Warning for mountain passes had me concerned, but then I got excited about the cloud potential. And that’s what made this night extra special, an awesome alignment coupled with wild, shape-shifting clouds exhibiting lunar iridescence. It was an Off-World experience.
