Details:
Venus and Regulus, less than a degree apart in a blue sky this morning, two minute before sunrise. This was taken using a hand-held Canon SL1 with a 500mm lens. I cropped it, but otherwise made no other adjustments. I was amazed to capture Regulus, at magnitude +1.4 in a sky this bright. Venus is magnitude -4.1, more than 100 times brighter than Regulus.
