Details:
What an epic night again under the northern lights! The show started at 8:30 PM local time, just 1.5 hour after sunset, and the sky was still glowing from a bright blue hour. We had several outbursts including one that produced a bright purple nitrogen fringe for about 2 minutes straight! I absolutely loved photographing this fringe with its reflection in the water of the Teno River here in the far north of Finnish Lapland. I also filmed it all in real-speed and I will post the movie on Sunday on my social media. In the meantime, I hope that it is OK to share the link to the real-speed video of the show from the night before: https://vimeo.com/462102388
