Details:
After some intense rainfall, the sky cleared surprisingly fast here in Utsjoki. Despite a mostly positive Bz, with only really short dips in the negative numbers, we were able to witnessed a more than decent aurora show! Actually, it was great! The fall colors season is ongoing here at 70°N, and the moon was nicely lighting up the golden trees on the shore of the Teno River here in Utsjoki. The fog was also slowly rising, and the aurora was dancing for 2 hours straight up in the sky! With the autumn equinox just around the corner, I am hoping for more such shows in the coming days.
