Details:
This evening a late summer thunderstorm passed over our area. A brilliant rainbow formed to the east and after the rainbow faded the best mammatus clouds I have ever seen formed in the sky. As we observed the skies my wife exclaimed "I feel like I'm on a fantasy movie set." It really was surreal. Photos taken with a Canon 6D DSLR, ISO 2000, Canon 17-40mm lens, Sigma 20mm ART lens at various apertures and exposures.
