This morning's sunrise was through thick smoke from several large wild fires in Colorado. My local hawk was kind enough to fly across sun for this great photo op. Taken with Nikon P950 in video mode, equivalent 1000m focal length, stacked and darkened in Photoshop. This whole event lasted about 1 second. No filter was used. Side note: It was exactly 3 years ago that a total solar eclipse cross this country. On 8 April 2024, the next one will occur from Texas to Vermont.
