Details:
Near its peak, the comet was bright enough to be picked up next to the north leg of the Gateway Arch. The Arch was lit by nearby buildings and the beginnings of morning twilight. The comet was not visible to the naked eye from such a brightly lit location, but was seen in binoculars.
