Details:
As an astrophotographer, I couldn't miss this year's Perseid meteor shower. I was imaging the sky for 3 days, using 2 cameras, capturing both sky and meteors. I was able to find 28 complete meteors, which are signature for Perseids, flying beautifuly from the radiant point.
The sky was captured using my astro-modified Canon 6D and 35 mm lens. Result is a 6 panel mosaic of the beautiful northern part of the Milky Way, including Perseus, Cassiopeia, Cepheus and Cygnus constellations (with their signature red-emission nebulae) and M31, galaxy in Andromeda, as a little bonus :-)
Meteors were recorded with my other Canon 6D mark II and a 14 mm lens.
Rest of the work? Hours of selecting, editing and compositing meteors at exact spot as they appeared on the night sky, to create this beautiful record of Perseid meteor shower.
