Details:
Imaging Comet NEOWISE was under nearly impossible conditions. City lights and smoke from western fires gave a Bortle rating of >7. This Nikon d3500, 20x30s, f/5.6, iso 1600 was taken around 10PM with the comet >20 degrees over the western horizon. In binoculars, it was barely visible. However, photo imagery revealed a nucleus of perhaps 5.7 magnitude and a broad dust tail of >3.5 degrees. This is still a perfect comet to photograph under perfect sky conditions.
