Details:
Ever since the Comet became visible, I dreamed of a "deepscape" type image - using a telephoto lens - to make the comet look quite big. As a Michigan native, The Mackinac Bridge was my target! This tracked/stacked/ and blended shot was both tricky - yet super rewarding. Sky shots - stack of 1-min tracked shots. Processed in deep sky stacker to bring out detail. Bridge - 1-min untracked, F/8 to create the star effect. All shot at 200mm from the same tripod location and night. Around 3:-3:30AM.
